Scene FAQ

How can I render images using my created scene?

You must first publish your scene from within the Scene app. Once published you can access your scene in the Controls menu in Shutter Pro. You can then use the Shutter Pro app to make finer adjustments and generate images.

How can I share my scene?

Once you have published your scene, you can share with individual users, or teams you are a member of.

What is the difference between a Dome and a Backplate?

Backplates are 2D environments where the background sits behind the car and the restrictions of the car position are defined in the Scene app. Domes are 3D environments which give users control to move the camera around the 3D space, and alter the shape of the Dome their HDR is projected on to.

How can I solve warped geometry in my Dome?

The Sphere environment type in Scene Setup allows you to easily solve any warped geometry, and allows you to move freely around the 3D space. Click and drag around the scene to get the correct position, then use Vehicle Control to make finer adjustments. To have the car remain in a fixed position, change the Dome Environment Type from Sphere to Morphable Dome. This type will provide additional options to change the size and shape of the dome the image/HDR is projected onto.

How can I move the camera inside the vehicle?

Select the Camera Control panel, and switch the Camera Mode to FlyCam from the dropdown menu. This will allow you to move the camera anywhere around the scene.
